The library had earlier announced its closure until further notice, while continuing to provide uninterrupted access to its extensive digital resources for members. Authorities have now confirmed that the facility will resume normal operations starting Tuesday, allowing visitors to once again access its vast collection of books, research materials, and community spaces. Located in Education City in Doha, the library is one of the country’s leading cultural and educational institutions, serving as a national, research, and public library. It houses hundreds of thousands of physical and digital resources, alongside exhibitions, workshops, and community programmes. During the closure period, patrons were supported through extended loan deadlines and continued access to online materials, ensuring minimal disruption to academic and research activities.
